Fairytale Island - Mont Saint-Michel, Normandie

The Fairytale Island Mont Saint-Michel is a rocky tidal island in Normandy, France. This is on the one hand a Fairytale Island (but real !) and on the other hand the place where the greatest tides in the world is running into and out of the Bay each day.
The islet, celebrated for its Benedictine abbey, has small houses and shops on its lowest level. Above these stand the monastic buildings, many of which date from the 13th century and are considered outstanding examples of Gothic architecture.

Le Gouffre - Brittany #2

Le Gouffre - Brittany

The Bretagne (Brittany) is a very rough area with an amazing coastline. The tide is very strong and gives the landscape an incredible unique character. I drove nearly 3000km in 4 days – and it was it really worth.
Enjoy my first impression.
