Iceland River #2

Same place ... just another photograph and I was escorted by heavy rain and wind. That's the reason why a water-resistant equipment isn't a bad idea. By the way, the lens hood is also very useful as a rain shield ;-)

Black Stone Waterfall

Skaftafell is one of the two National Parks in Iceland and its major attraction is the black stone waterfall "Svartifoss". The black basalt columns are the ones after which the church in Reykjavik is modeled. 

This amazing waterfall is definitely a trip to Iceland worth ;-)

Well, these are the famous basalt rocks "Reynisdrangar" which are situated under the mountain Reynisfjall by the village Vik i Myrdal, southern Iceland.

I photographed the scene before sunrise and the sun glow colored the clouds pastel pink.
