Dufourspitze (Monte Rosa)

The Dufourspitze also known as Monte Rosa is the highest mountain of Switzerland and the second highest in the Alps (4'634m).

I photographed this scene from Gornergrat with the following settings:

- Canon 1ds Mark III
- Canon 70-200mm IS 2.8 (at 95mm)
- ISO 100
- 1/800
- f 9.0
- developed in Lightroom 2.1

Enjoy the summit !

Regards,

Gerry

Love the contrast in this BW shot.
It seems that an error occurred in the description regarding the altitude. It should read 4,634 m (15,203 ft) indeed.
Just discovered your website and this blog. Great pictures there!
