Dufourspitze (Monte Rosa)
The Dufourspitze also known as Monte Rosa is the highest mountain of Switzerland and the second highest in the Alps (4'634m). I photographed this scene from Gornergrat with the following settings:
- Canon 1ds Mark III
- Canon 70-200mm IS 2.8 (at 95mm)
- ISO 100
- 1/800
- f 9.0
- developed in Lightroom 2.1
Enjoy the summit !

Gerry

very nice rendering of the tumultuous structure of the Monte Rosa. Superbe.
Love the contrast in this BW shot.
It seems that an error occurred in the description regarding the altitude. It should read 4,634 m (15,203 ft) indeed.
Just discovered your website and this blog. Great pictures there!
